The Classic FM presenter performed with pianist, composer and producer, Ffrench, on Good Morning Britain.
Classic FM presenter Charlotte Hawkins performed a piano duet with pianist Alexis Ffrench on Good Morning Britain today (30 December) – see above.
Hawkins and Ffrench – a pianist, composer and performer known for his improvisatory cover of ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ – performed ‘Bluebird’ from Ffrench’s Evolution album.
“I was really shaking,” Hawkins admitted after her beautiful performance with Ffrench. “It’s such an honour to play with you.”

“Absolutely amazing to get the chance to do this!! It was just a little bit terrifying though, performing with a piano legend (hence the concentration face & shaky fingers!),” Charlotte tweeted afterwards. “Do give the piano a go, it’s so beautiful to be able to play a piece like @AlexisFfrench’s ‘Bluebird’.”
Charlotte Hawkins is a regular presenter on Good Morning Britain, and joined Classic FM as a weekend presenter in 2018.
