Remember in 'Notting Hill' when that lovely Elvis Costello song plays and you want to cry forever? Well, it's even more emotional with a string quartet.
Remember when *SPOILER ALERT* William Thacker ends up with Anna Scott, she gets pregnant and they live happily ever after, and THEN that lovely Elvis Costello song plays and you want to cry forever? Well, it’s even more emotional when a string quartet plays it.
The Capital String Quartet has posted a beautiful video of their rendition of ‘She’, which was originally written in the 1970s by Charles Aznavour, but made famous when Elvis Costello re-recorded it for the romantic comedy in 1999.
It’s simple and beautifully melodious: a perfect classical cover of one of the best 70s pop songs out there.
If you’d actually like to hear this at your wedding, you can contact the Capital String Quartet on their website, or by phone on 07958 460717.
