Classic FM bags an Arqiva Award for jingles

Classic FM has triumphed in the Station Imaging category at the 2013 Arqiva Awards, for our 'The Sound Of Classic FM' jingle package.
The other nominees in the same category were Kiss and Rock 'n' Roll Football on Absolute Radio. Our very own Wynne Evans (pictured) was also nominated for Single Programme of the Year for his 'Wynne Evans' Guide to Opera' show, broadcast over Christmas.
The award follows recent awards successes at the Royal Philharmonic Society awards and the Sony Radio Academy Awards - including a Sony Award for the similar achievement of the promotional campaign for More Music Breakfast.
The Arqiva Awards, held annually, honour the best in commercial radio and this year featured live performances from Bucks Fizz and Atomic Kitten.
