Mozart gets a make-over using Mark Ronson’s chart-topping track ‘Uptown Funk’.

The Vandalia Trío, comprising double bassist Pablo Estébanez, flautist Irene Jiménez and violinist Fernando García, have created an epic classical-pop medley called Uptown Mozart.

Using classical instruments, the trio build on Mozart's Divertimento No.3 in F Major by using Mark Ronson's Uptown Funk. The 2014 chart-topping hit is one of the best-selling singles of all time has over 3.2 billion YouTube views. When first released, it remained No.1 in the charts for fourteen consecutive weeks.

This classical version of the song swaps the singer Bruno Mars for a double bass, flute and violin with amazing results. It also gives a nod to the jazz classic Minor Swing, made famous by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, a gypsy jazz guitar and violin duo.
