Ned Flanders is a Classic FM listener

Voice of The Simpsons Harry Shearer is a Classic FM listener, according to a radio masterclass he hosted earlier today at the 2013 Radio Festival.

The well-loved actor and voiceover artist is known for voicing a plethora of animated characters in The Simpsons, including Ned Flanders, Mr Burns, Reverend Lovejoy and newsreader Kent Brockman.

Shearer was giving a radio masterclass via Skype for the Radio Festival when he made the admission.

He is also a regular radio broadcaster in the US, where he hosts his own comedy show on NPR. Notably, he also played the role of bassist Derek Smalls in This Is Spinal Tap. Shearer is a frequent live performer in the UK as well, having toured several solo shows across the country in recent years.
