Free cocktails for concert-goers in London
7 November 2013, 12:33
Concert-goers in London will be given a free cocktail to enjoy after classical music concerts, thanks to a new scheme called Pick & Mix.
For just £15 attendees can enjoy the best available seats at selected concerts across the capital and receive a complimentary cocktail to go with it. Tickets for the concerts can cost up to £32 at face value.
Ensembles such as the London Symphony Orchestra and London Sinfonietta are on board with the scheme. The Southbank Centre and the Barbican venues will be participating and providing drinks venues for the concerts.
At Southbank Centre, they could pick an Earl Grey gin cocktail at Concrete, lined with contemporary art. At the Barbican, on the other hand, they could enjoy the taste of London’s favourite tipple at Searcy’s Gin Joint.
Details of how to book can be found on each event, with further information on the Pick n Mix Facebook page.
