A new magazine-style show, Charlotte Green’s Culture Club, is set to launch on Sunday 22 September.

Every week the award-winning broadcaster will be joined a special guest from the world of music, theatre, television or film, in a programme expected to become a highlight of Classic FM’s weekend schedule. Alongside playing the world’s greatest classical music, every Sunday afternoon at 3pm, Charlotte will interview her guest about their forthcoming projects and cultural passions. Each two-hour programme will also focus on brand new releases, artists who are performing in the UK and the very latest classical music news.

In the first programme, the actor, writer and television presenter Stephen Fry will join Charlotte to discuss his passion for the music of Wagner and why he's curating a brand new arts festival - Deloitte Ignite - at the Royal Opera House this month.

Charlotte said: "I was thrilled to join Classic FM earlier this year, and I'm delighted to be launching this exciting new programme. I very much share Classic FM's aim of making classical music accessible to as wide an audience as possible – and I hope my new Culture Club will become an essential listen for anyone who, like me, is passionate about the arts."

Tune into Charlotte Green’s Culture Club every Sunday from 3pm to 5pm from Sunday 22 September
