Brooklyn Duo’s version of the late Leonard Cohen’s most famous song, ‘Hallelujah’, is circulating among fans on the internet.

The cello and piano duo of Marnie and Patrick Laird specialise in turning popular songs into inventive and affecting classical-influenced works.

With ‘Hallelujah’, coincidentally shared a couple of weeks ago on their Facebook page, they turn one of Leonard Cohen’s most iconic songs into a gentle, melodic duet.

Cohen’s death was announced earlier today - he was 82 years old.
