Here’s a violin that sounds exactly like a racing car. We’re very jealous of this guy’s string skills…

This violinist – Danny Cadene on YouTube – has managed to make his instrument sound exactly like a Formula 1 racing car.

He does it with lots of glissandi, a few well-timed bow bounces and some sudden dynamic changes.

It gets a little hard on the ears after the first 30 seconds, but we’re still fans. Watch the video below for more weird and wonderful sound effects on the violin…
