The Super Mario theme on melodicas is ridiculously good

The music of your favourite pixelated Italian duo, in a surprisingly authentic performance.

There's a duo storming social media at the moment, making melodica covers of a whole host of classical repertoire.

So far they've tackled the likes of Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky and Gershwin. And every performance is as wonderful as you'd hope.

But how would they fare when faced with one of video game music's most iconic themes: Super Mario Bros by Koji Kondo.

If you ask us, the tone of these instruments authentically matches the original sound of the 1980s Nintendo in a very pleasing way.
