Pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet tackles the fourth volume of his Mozart piano concertos. The latest release includes Mozart's Piano Concertos No. 20 and 21, which were written within four weeks of each other, and a piano edition of the Overture to his opera Don Giovanni.

These are some of Mozart's best-known piano concertos, and Jean-Efflam Bavouzet has recorded a delightful and bright rendition of them with the Manchester Camerata and conductor Gábor Takács-Nagy.

In 2005, pianist Angela Hewitt began a cycle of Beethoven piano sonatas. This album marks the penultimate recording in this series.

Angela Hewitt said of this new release: “My only wish when I started was to present well-known sonatas along with lesser-known works, instead of the standard pairings. This album has four sonatas that are particularly well contrasted: one early (Op 2 No 1); one of the ‘easier’ sonatas (Op. 14 No. 2); one ultra-famous (the ‘Waldstein’, Op. 53); and one of the least known (Op. 54).”
