The composer and his unmistakable piano tunes will be gracing the stage at the Roundhouse in Camden, London in September.
Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi will be performing at this year's iTunes Festival on September 17. He's the first classical act to be announced as part of this year's festival, on the line-up alongside a host of pop's biggest stars including Justin Timberlake and Jessie J.
The announcement comes after a record-breaking year for the composer, whose album In a Time Lapse shot to the top of the classical chart in January thanks to a huge number of digital sales.
This is the first time Einaudi's performed in London's iconic venue, which has played host to music legends including Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, and The Clash. Speaking to Classic FM last month, he explained how his music speaks in a range of different venues, from concert halls to club nights: "I like to listen to different music, not focused on something that is in one box," he said. "Once there's something good and inspiring to me, it can come from everywhere - folk music, electronic music, classical music. I grew up like that."
