The Scottish violinist has long been touted as one of the UK's most talented up-and-coming young musicians. Having already released five albums and toured the world, she's currently on the verge of releasing her new record.
The allbum, Italia, is a recording of Baroque violin repertoire celebrating the violinist's Scottish-Italian heritage. The record is Nicola's first release for the Decca label and includes such popular works as Summer from Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Tartini’s famous Devil’s Trill sonata.
Nick Ferrari talked to Nicola at length all about her musical childhood, her views on X-Factor and what the future has in store for her.
