The classical superstar makes history by becoming the first the first classical artist to have 10 top 10 albums
Andrea Bocelli’s new album, ‘Cinema’, has reached No.3 in the pop charts – ahead of records by Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith.
It’s the highest chart position for Bocelli in more than a decade and means that he becomes the first classical artist to have 10 top 10 albums.
The album also features pop stars Ariana Grande and Nicole Scherzinger on the tracks ‘E Piu Ti Penso’ and ‘Don’t Cry for me Argentina’ respectively. The album has been this week's Album of the Week on Classic FM.

Bocelli is one of the biggest names in music, selling over 85 million records and performing at the MTV EMAs earlier this month.
