This 11-year-old trumpeter is just an astonishing talent

The young trumpeter, originally from Venezuela, is very special. And there's a powerful story behind her music.

Here's a young player to inspire you, make your jaw drop, and fill you with emotion through sheer musicality. And the sound she creates. Oh my!

Niccole Meza Ramos is known as 'Cole Trumpet' to her friends and fans. She’s 11 years old and has only been playing the trumpet for three years. She does not read music and learns and plays entirely by ear. What a talent she is.

And there’s an amazing story behind the beautiful tone. Niccole is from a musical family who were forced to leave Venezuela due to political unrest. After seeing a clip of Niccole's playing on Facebook, Dale C Crow from Crow Custom Brass travelled to the Dominican Republic to track her down. Crow Custom Brass have since has signed Niccole in a two-year sponsorship deal, matching her with the best instruments and helping her bring her talent to audiences in America.

She now plays her own custom trumpet, the 'MC6 Cole Trumpet'.
