Pianist Lang Lang has made good on his promise to US basketball player LeBron James and given him his first piano lesson.
The lesson took place on-stage as the basketball player visited China. In the video of the debut lesson, the pianist and James sit together on the piano stool and smash the keys in the manner of a basketball slam dunk.
James first made it clear that he wanted a piano lesson when he responded to a video Lang Lang posted on YouTube, which showed the pianist doing a piano version of a slam dunk and declaring his respect for the basketball legend.

Lang Lang posted a picture of the lesson to his Twitter feed, describing James as "not a bad duet partner":
Not a bad duet partner, @KingJames! :) Great seeing you in Beijing. Next time, give me pointers on my jump shot? pic.twitter.com/zdbOhDza8N
