It’s one of the hardest pieces to play on the organ – and on solo harp, it’s an extraordinary workout for the hands.
Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor is one of the most famous pieces of Baroque organ music ever written, with a particularly iconic opening.
Its rhapsodic texture should make it particularly hellish to play on harp, but harpist Amy Turk plays a stunning version.
