‘This is Me’ is performed by actress and singer Keala Settle, who plays the role of the bearded lady Lettie Lutz in The Greatest Showman.

The song includes the line ‘I am who I’m meant to be, this is me’ and is an anthem of acceptance for P.T. Barnum’s cast of circus performers.

The film is based on the real-life story of Barnum, a 19th-century showman who searched for ‘human oddities’ to perform in his circus.
