J.S. Bach spawned and educated an entire musical dynasty – but his son C.P.E. Bach was also a highly influential teacher in his own right.
And in the 20th century perhaps the greatest teacher of them all was Nadia Boulanger, who helped Aaron Copland, Philip Glass and Astor Piazzolla reach new heights of composing greatness – as well as Burt Bacharach and Quincy Jones.
