One man, one musical masterpiece, six bassoons.

Ashby Mayes, a student at the Royal College of Music has turned one of Edward Elgar's best-loved pieces of music into a multi-tracked masterpiece for bassoon.

Ashby recorded six separate videos of himself playing Nimrod from Elgar's Enigma Variations, before using the wonders of modern technology to create one majestic performance.

We're big fans.
