The Sixteen announce 2014/15 concert season

Harry Christophers and The Sixteen have announced their 2014/15 season - and a celebration of 35 years of music-making.
Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610 and Christmas performances of works by Byrd, Lauridsen, Palestrina and Victoria at The Queen Elizabeth Hall in London are just some of the highlights of The Sixteen's 2014/15 season.
The annual Choral Pilgrimage tour continues in 2015. 'Flight of Angels' takes audiences back to 16th-century Spain, specifically Seville, with a programme of music by Francisco Guerrero and Alonso Lobothe.
The Sixteen will also tour abroad, performing concerts in Australia, South Korea, Holland, and Vienna.
A new recording is set to be released in 2015 to accompany the Choral Pilgimage tour 'Flight of Angels', returning to the music of Purcell with his Indian Queen.
