The Full Works Concert - Wednesday 24 September, 8pm
Jane Jones presents a Full Works Concert with a distinctly British flavour.
Tonight's British-flavoured programme opens with some Pomp and Circumstance courtesy of Elgar (pictured).
Jane will also celebrate John Rutter’s birthday, and we'll hear from a composer who was championed by Elgar, Eric Coates.
Finally, there’s a chance to enjoy the great British violinist Nigel Kennedy’s recording of the Beethoven Violin Concerto, and a rarely heard piece from Tchaikovsky, who was awarded an honorary doctorate by Cambridge University.
