André Rieu waltzes back to the No.1 spot with his new album.
He dominated the Classic FM Chart for the first three months of this year and now, after a quick succession of new No.1 albums, André Rieu shoots straight back to the top of the Chart with his new release, Magic of the Violin, hot on the heels of being Classic FM's Album of the Week. Even the mighty Avengers, last week's No.1, did not have enough superpowers to stand up to the indefatigable André. They've been socked back to No.8.
Another former Album of the Week, pianist Stephen Hough's recording of a selection of Grieg's Lyric Pieces is the next highest new entry at No.4.
