In Verdi's bicentenary year, David pays homage to the great Italian composers opera and ballet works

David dedicates his show this evening to Verdi, selecting 2 hours of the composer's opera and ballet works in his bicentenary year. David has also carefully re-created the programme of a tribute concert conducted by Toscanini that was held in 1901, shortly after the death of Italy's most beloved and revered composer.
