Howard Goodall concludes his mini-series celebrating Great Living Film Composers – and this Saturday, he turns his attention to Patrick Doyle.

The brilliant Scottish composer Patrick Doyle is the man behind the scores for hit films like Sense and Sensibility, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Gosford Park.  

We’ll be hearing music from them all, alongside all sorts of lesser-known but brilliant Doyle soundtracks. They include the family film Nanny McPhee, the adventure movie Nim’s Island and Doyle’s most recent soundtrack, Brave – so don’t miss this special, two-hour celebration of one of Hollywood’s most in-demand composers.
