There's a sublime piece of Mozart as heard in The Shawkshank Redemption and an early appearance of classical music - Boccherini to be precise - in the classic Ealing Comedy, The Ladykillers starring Alec Guinness (pictured).
And who can forget Saint-Saens' Organ Symphony triumphant in Babe and Mascagni's Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana in Raging Bull.
