The Classic FM Chart - 3 August 2014
Highland Spirit enters the chart at No. 3, but it's still not strong enough to topple Nicola Benedetti from the top spot.
The spirit of the Commonwealth Games has made a big impact on this week's chart. Not only has Nicola Benedetti held onto the No. 1 spot with her Scottish album, Homecoming, but the compilation Highland Spirit is this week's highest new entry at No.3. The album also features Nicola Benedetti along with a host of other great Scottish talent.
Heading across the Atlantic, Michael Tilson Thomas's all-American cast recording of Bernstein's West Side Story makes a welcome re-entry into the chart at No. 9.
