There's a new entry from Philip Glass, but Alexander Armstrong marks his 15th week at No.1.

Alexander Armstrong's A Year of Songs entered the Chart at No.1 16 weeks ago and, barring one week, it's held onto the top spot ever since. It's a remarkable achievement for a debut album.

This week, James Bond make a return to the Chart as Thomas Newman's soundtrack to Spectre enters the chart at No.5. The highest new entry comes in at 17. Philip Glass's Solo Piano is an evocative and atmospheric collection of the composer's minimalist compositions, played - appropriately for the title - on solo piano. Will it be strong enough to scale the next 16 places and topple Alexander Armstrong? We doubt it.
