The Classic FM Chart has a brand new No.1. Alison Balsom's superb new album, Paris.
The trumpeter spent an important period of her life at the Paris Conservatoire and, in this album, has pulled together a set of unusual pieces that range from great 20th-century French composers - including Ravel, Duruflé and Messiaen - to jazz maestro Django Reinhardt and popular chanson française.
