On Classic FM’s weekly cultural highlights show, Charlotte Green talks to the multi-award-winning choreographer Matthew Bourne, pictured. From 1987 until 2002, he was the artistic director of his company Adventures in Motion Pictures, finding an enormous new audience for dance with his groundbreaking work both at home and internationally. His shows included the all-male Swan Lake, Edward Scissorhands, Cinderella and The Car Man. His Nutcracker! became an instant popular hit with audiences and critics all around the world.

Charlotte is also joined by the pianist Stephen Hough to discuss his latest recording of music by Grieg and his love of composing.

And we’ll find out what happened when John Suchet met the actor and director Alan Rickman to chat about his new film, A Little Chaos.
