Soul Patrol

Robert Smyth Academy is a mixed comprehensive in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, providing education for 1350 students from the ages of 14-19.

Music is particularly strong with ten different ensembles, over 100 students taking GCSE Music, more than fifty studying A Level Music and Music Technology, and many continuing to study music in higher education. Soul Patrol is the only auditioned ensemble. Together with the academy’s jazz band, they have toured in China, Denmark, Spain, the Czech Republic and France and have released three CDs.
