Grieg, Dvorák, Elgar: unbounding joyfulness

Despite the composers’ different nationalities there’s a certain similarity linking all three works here. However, in the case of the Holberg Suite, Grieg uses dances from the Baroque era for his inspiration. The Rotterdam Chamber Orchestra gives the pieces a lovely intimate sound, perfect for that make-believe concert in your living room.
