Tonight’s selection of concert hall favourites is packed full of hits from the Classic FM Hall of Fame – and they’ll all be played in full. Join Jane Jones from 8pm
As well as the Classic FM Hall of Fame hits, Jane Jones presents a brilliant performance of Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.6 (‘Pathetique’) from the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Mariss Jansons, a Bach Brandenburg Concerto performed by the English Concert, and Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite No.1 brought to us by the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. Plus – star young pianist Benjamin Grosvenor performs Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and we’ll enjoy an all-Russian performance of Khachaturian’s Adagio of Spartacus and Phrygia.
