The Full Works Concert - Friday 8 August, 8pm

It's Festival Friday - and Jane Jones takes a look at great performers who are appearing around the country.

Every Friday during this month, Jane Jones is highlighting some of the best summer musical festivals across the United Kingdom. There will be music from some of the orchestras and soloists performing, as well as music inspired by the festivals' locations. 

Tonight, listen out for the pianist Piotr Anderszewski, who is appearing at the Snape Proms next week. 

There's also summery guitar music by Xuefei Yang (pictured), who is set to perform at the International Guitar Festival at Shrewsbury School this weekend, and a look at two great opera festivals – Glyndebourne and Verona.
