Saturday Night at the Movies: 9 March 2013
This Saturday Howard ditches the film scores for a celebration of the classical numbers that have hit the Hollywood big time
This weekend’s Saturday Night at the Movies is a little different, because there’s not a film score in sight. The reason? Howard dedicates the programme to classical music made famous on the big screen. There’s everything from Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.2 (remembered by millions for its use in Brief Encounter) through to music from the Mozart-inspired movie Amadeus – and plenty more in between!
