Andrew Collins picks some of the all-time classic movie themes for his first show.

Classic FM welcomes the award-winning writer, broadcaster and Radio Times film editor Andrew Collins to the helm of our weekly celebration of movie music.  

In his first show, Andrew casts his net wide across classic film scores from some of the most influential film composers in the business.

There'll be John Williams, of course, with music from Jaws and Superman; Psycho by Bernard Herrmann and Lawrence of Arabia by Maurice Jarre.

And Andrew will begin with one of his favourite ever pieces of film music. Here’s a clue: it's by John Barry.
