Andrew Collins reviews the best film scores of 2015 so far, and previews some new ones to look forward to.

This week, Andrew Collins takes a look at the best film scores of 2015 so far, starting off with the big award winners including The Theory of Everything and Whiplash.

Most of the plaudits for The Theory of Everything went to its leading man Eddie Redmayne for his masterful portrayal of physicist Stephen Hawking, but the film's music by Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson won itself a Golden Globe for Best Original Score.

Also featured tonight are recent hits such as Danny Elfman’s music for 50 Shades of Grey and Michael Giacchino's music for Jupiter Ascending.

Andrew rounds off tonight's proceedings with some brand new releases which you can look out for in the coming months.
