The Classic FM Chart - 22 June 2014

World Cup fever shoots the Three Tenors' classic 1994 concert into the Chart.

While the album Classic FM Hall of Fame 2014 and Rhydian continue their hold on the top of the Chart, there's a new entry to celebrate from Pavarotti, Domingo and Carreras - the Three Tenors. It's the 20th anniversary edition of their classic 1994 concert at the Los Angeles Dodgers Stadium. The World Cup has also catapulted England Anthems 2014 into the top ten as well. 

Elsewhere, the 150th anniversary of the birth of Richard Strauss is celebrated with a new entry at 28 for his Lieder, sung by the brilliant Bavarian soprano Christiane Karg. And there's a tremendous boxed set of all of Sibelius's symphonies in at 19 with the BBC Philharmonic conducted by Sibelius' fellow countryman, the Finn John Storgards.
