The Classic FM Chart - 11 January 2015, 5pm
Howard Shore storms the Chart this week with no fewer than four albums of his Middle Earth music.
Andre Rieu is still at the top, Alfie Boe and Katherine Jenkins remain in the Top 3 - but Canadian movie music maestro Howard Shore is mounting an assault worthy of Middle Earth on the Classic FM Chart.
This week, not only is his latest score for the third and final instalment of The Hobbit at No.6, but the two earlier soundtracks have re-entered the Chart at 20 and 23. And The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is at 24. Will the dwarves and elves defeat the seemingly invincible forces of Andre? To be continued…
