Once again there will be a spectacular finale of the 1812 Overture, complete with a lorry-load of fireworks!
The accomplished young violinist Charlie Siem will perform the Finale from Bruch's Violin Concerto No.1 and Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending.
Charlie Siem is about to release his second album, which includes the Bruch Violin Concerto.
Another star young soloist will join the RLPO for Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, the British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor.
