Ramin Djawadi's theme from Game Of Thrones has become one of the most popular TV themes of modern times. But the rest of the epic fantasy series' music is composed with incredible detail too.
Djawadi spoke to Classic FM's Sam Pittis about the music from the new third season of Game Of Thrones, released last week, and how the iconic title theme especially has taken on a life of its own.
The composer, whose music will next be heard on the soundtrack to Pacific Rim, reveals how he got involved with the project, how his themes for different characters have subtly evolved throughout the three seasons, and why it's a good idea to keep spoilers under your hat - especially when you're one of the first people to see new episodes.
