Tuesday, October 16: Jane Jones picks out some of the best of the autumn classical releases.

New Releases on The Full Works Concert includes music from Friar Alessandro: Voice of Assisi, as well as a fine new recording of orchestral music by Ravel.  Plus – a beautiful new take on the Barber Violin Concerto, a fine concerto from a composer who studied with Beethoven, and a dazzling performance of Franz Waxman’s Carmen Fantasy.
