The Full Works Concert - Tuesday 5 February 2013: Great Orchestras of the World
It’s a Gallic Full Works Concert tonight, with all sorts of French favourites performed by the Orchestre de Paris.

Among the highlights, we’ll hear Faure’s Pavane, Bizet’s Symphony in C and music Ravel composed for Daphnis and Chloe. Plus – away from the French repertoire, there’s a recently-released, complete performance of Chopin’s Piano Concerto No.2, and some orchestral music by Berlioz featuring Daniel Barenboim on the podium.
