Karajan remastered

David Mellor showcases the latest remastered recordings from the legendary conductor. Sunday 14 September, 7pm.

This week David Mellor has another treat for fans of the legendary Herbert von Karajan, or for those who just want to learn more about the life and times of one of the greatest conductors of the last century.

David delves into the latest in Warner's series of Karajan's remastered tapes, drawing on the 1970s and 1980s when the conductor led the Berlin Philharmonic to extraordinary heights.
