David Mellor marks the 25th anniversary of the great conductor's death

This week, David Mellor is joined on his show by the official biographer of Herbert von Karajan, Richard Osborne, to celebrate the life and art of one of the finest ever conductors of classical music.

Herbert von Karajan passed away 25 years ago this coming Wednesday and the pair will be looking back at key periods in the conductor's life, and enjoying hearing together many of the maestro’s finest recordings.
