Saturday Night at the Movies: 11 May 2013

This week, Howard celebrates four famous names from the world of film, all of whom were born 100 years ago this year.

There’s the American actor Burt Lancaster, star of Field of Dreams and Local Hero; the twice Oscar-winning British actress Vivienne Leigh, who won her Academy Awards for Gone with the Wind and A Streetcar Named Desire; the celebrated British actor Sid James, loved by millions for his roles in the Carry On… films; and another Brit, Peter Cushing, whose career included appearances in everything from Star Wars to Doctor Who.
