Howard Goodall celebrates Shakespeare's birthday - at the movies.
This month sees 450 years since the birth of Britain's greatest ever playwright, William Shakespeare.
Tonight Howard Goodall raises a glass to the Bard of Avon and dedicates this show to the great film adaptations of Shakespeare's works.
There will be various Romeos and Juliets - including beloved themes by Nino Rota and Craig Armstrong - along with Patrick Doyle's music for Hamlet and Much Ado About Nothing (pictured) – and there may well be some Shakespeare in Love for good measure (for measure).
