Anna Netrebko's Verdi album enters the Top Ten, while there are two new entries for pianist Mitsuko Uchida.
Anna Netrebko's album Verdi has made it into the pop charts in several European countries. It's been at the top of the Austrian pop chart and has now entered the Classic FM Chart at No.6.
Netrebko herself commented on the incredible success: "I couldn't be happier that Verdi's music is reaching such a wide audience, especially with this year being his bicentennial."
The great pianist Mitsuko Uchida has had two new entries this week - Schubert's G minor sonata at no.9 and the complete Beethoven Piano Concertos at 29.
