Ingrid Fliter has built a reputation as a first-rate Chopin interpreter. Her album of his fiendishly difficult piano concertos is this week's highest new entry.

There's no change at the top of our Chart this week - but there is a new entry at No. 12 from pianist Ingrid Fliter with her recording of Chopin's piano concertos with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, celebrating its 40th anniversary year, and conducted by Jun Märkl. 

It's a breathtaking performance. The orchestra's subtle and sensitive playing perfectly accompanies Fliter's strongly expressive interpretation, which is at turns lyrical and powerful.
