A 70-album boxset from Herbert von Karajan is this week's highest new entry
This week a truly gargantuan offering entered the chart from the legendary conductor Herbert von Karajan. Spread over new fewer than 70 CDs, Karajan - The Opera Recordings, features the 14 operas Karajan recorded for Deutsche Grammophon – from Mozart to Puccini, and including the complete Wagner's Ring Cycle. It also includes a 220-page book, but at over £130 a box it's not likely to threaten Andre Rieu's hold on the No.1 spot.
